ملخص عام علي القصة
The writer and his friends were talking aboutيتحدثون عن unusual events إحداث غير عادية that had no natural explanation ليس لها تفسير طبيعي . one of the strangers among them was a little man with a pale شاحب face. He was listening carefully but he said nothing.

The storyteller said that he was living in an old house in '' Ormond Street'' in London. On the wall of his bedroom , there were patchesبقع of dampness رطوبة that were exactly like a human face . It didn't change like other patches بقع . So , he considered it his fellow lodgerرفيقه في السكن .
He fell ill so he lay in bed watching that face that controlled him استحوذ عليه / تملكه in such a way that it became the chief thing in his thoughts day and night.
When he felt better, he searched for بحث عن the man in crowded places أماكن مزدحمة like political meetingsاجتماعات سياسية . He felt that they are connected by fate القدر جمع بينهما بطريقة ما , so he neglected يهمل everything to search for that man until he found him and until he became suspicious محل ريبة و شك.
By chance, he saw that man in a taxi going to '' Charing Cross'' railway stationمحطة سكة حديد .The man with two ladies was going to take the train to '' Folkstone'' and then to France . the storyteller took the same trainاستقل نفس القطار to talk to him but the man went on board of a boat to France. He did the same but the man got into a private roomحجرة خاصة . The story teller waited for him in front of أمام the door.
The man went out and the storyteller asked him to give himطلب أن يعطيه his card. He faintedفقد وعيه when he read the card because the name was '' Ormond Wall'' who lives in U.S.A. He found himself in a hospital and was in a serious conditionحالة سيئة .
He found that the man was a millionaireمليونير with English parents who lived in London. One morning, he found that the face became very faintباهت اللون He read about a motor accidentحادث سيارة made by an American millionaire called '' Ormond Wall'' . when he came home he found that the face had completely disappeared.اختفي تماما
The storyteller said that there were three extra ordinary غير عادية things in this story .
1- Firstly, the face on the wall was like the face of a gentle millionaire in America and it disappeared when the man died.الوجه كان لمليونير أمريكي واختفي الوجه حينما مات هذا الرجل
2- Secondly, the gentleman's name was related to the place where the face appeared. اسم هذا الرجل كان مرتبطا بالمكان الذي ظهر فيه وجهه
The man was '' Ormond Wall'' . the face appeared in Ormond on a wall of the old room.
3- Thirdly, the story was not true but he made it up half an hour ago. تلك القصة ابتكرها الراوي من نصف ساعة مضت ولم تكن حقيقية

He said it happened to him personally to make others believe him.
He was good narrator and attracted their attention.
He surprised them by saying that he made it up on the spur of the time.

He was one of the group. He asked the stranger to tell them an unusual story.
4- Mr. Ormond Wall.
He was the hero of the fabricated story. He was an American millionaire with English parents who lived in London. His face appeared on the wall of the storyteller's room. His name was related to the street where the storyteller lived. His face disappeared when the man died.
